This is a fantastic facility for the School. Green play Project have done a great job in making our vision for supporting outdoor learning for children with autism a reality.

Blackhorse Primary School’s Resource Base is for pupils with Autism or Social Communication Difficulties and is the only provision for children of primary school age in South Gloucestershire.
Their aim is to facilitate inclusion for our pupils and enable them to be part of a thriving school community for at least part of the week.
We have designed this space specifically to meet the needs of the children who attend and give them smaller spaces in the woodland quiet space with lush planting and dens, interactive playful fixed items for busy exploration and investigation and a road way system with signs for applying rules and order.
