Aerodrome Academy Key Stage 2

We have now been working with Aerodrome Academy for over a year and have completed 4 play areas for them. It has been an exciting period of redevelopment for the school and each key stage has been given a dedicated play space.  The School play outside all year round and use their outside spaces as educational tools as well as playgrounds.

'We feel so lucky to have found Green Play Project. They really understand how learning through natural play develops the whole child and can turn any idea into an exciting reality.
The whole team are very easy to work with and streamline the whole building process to ensure minimum disruption whilst the children can watch the project develop before their eyes!
The children have truly benefited from thoughtful design and inspiring play opportunities and have made huge leaps in their learning. '

The School needed a larger undercover play space so we extended the existing lean to and built an open sand room with kitchen work tops for creative play.

There was an existing trim trail to which we added a climbing net and resurfaced the area with a pea gravel.

We supplied a shipping container with a roller shutter door at each end and an internal dividing wall. The container was clad in larch timber to improve its appearance and blend into the landscape.
