After a bit of research we have discovered that the half narrow boat Ebay purchase is in fact part of a rare steam boat called Steam Boat Swallow who spent her life working the waterways of Britain. Restoration proved to be too costly for part of her hull so she was cut in half and the unusable section was sold to us, the other half is undergoing a restoration and rebuild.
