The Chessel Centre, was built built by the Southville Community Development Association (SCDA), the charity that runs the Southville Centre. This new community centre provides a large room for hire, a 54-space full-time nursery and office space. The internal courtyard is the only outdoor space allocated to the Nursery so the design team’s brief was to provide a diverse mix of play opportunities in a very small space.
