Its been a popular summer for water play here at GPP and first up to be completed is Beacon Rise School’s Water World.
The bespoke Water Wheel and Archimedes Screw are powered by children and enable playful investigation of STEM principles. The water channels are hand carved with variety of flow form shapes that create differing rhythms of water flow. Set on a wood chip surface this piece of equipment allows for additional loose parts to be brought into play such as sticks and woodchip used to disrupt the water flow.
