This design has zoned play spaces for both active and quiet play opportunities and all the new structures are built by Green Play in our workshop ensuring consistent timber choice and quality.

We removed the wet pour inside the fence line and re-level the sub base to create a firm and level base for new rubber mulch and astroturf surfacing. The road way has been retained and the active central zone will provide a new route through the space towards the grass area.

The rubber mulch surface is a recycled product and is textured to resemble loose wood chip which makes it less slippy than the previous wet pour shown below.

We have designed a garden space defined by new playgrade astroturf surfacing. The space is enclosed with slatted timber screens that allow visibility to the grass area behind. 

There is an enclosed circular seating space for small group work and a tree seat.
