The National Trust for Scotland, Geilston Gardens

Our new Hobbit Hole Log Stack is proving popular with children and families at The National Trust for Scotland’s Geilston Gardens in Scotland.

Anita Gaw, seasonal senior assistant at Geilston Gardens, said: “The Hobbit Hole play area has proved to be very popular with children, and local families have been making lots of repeat visits to Geilston to use the equipment.

“Many families have actually joined up as members of the National Trust for Scotland, to allow them to visit the garden whenever they wish from Easter weekend until October 31.”

Anita added: “We hope that the new attraction for children will increase our visitor numbers and result in more and more contact with local families, as word gets around that the garden is a fantastic place to visit.”
