SITE SUPERVISOR
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee the construction phase of our projects. You will coordinate site activity, lead on health and safety, maintain excellent quality standards and act as a trusted point of contact for clients. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will help deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Manage the construction phase of projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality.
Attend pre-start, project planning, RoSPA play inspection and client handover meetings alongside the Operations Manager.
Plan site materials and build methodology with the management team.
Take responsibility for site health and safety, including records, toolbox talks, accident reporting and compliance.
Maintain compliance with EN 1176 and all current play standards.
Supervise, support and appraise site staff, maintaining accurate labour records.
Monitor progress with the Operations Manager each week to minimise delays and protect the project schedule and cash flow.
Maintain high standards of quality control throughout each build.
Act as the on-site contact for clients and communicate professionally throughout delivery.
Manage company tools, hired equipment, PPE, vehicles and stock, including maintenance and record keeping.
Coordinate equipment hire, collections, deliveries and purchasing required for the construction stage.
When working away, help ensure accommodation is kept clean and liaise appropriately with property owners or accommodation providers.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience supervising construction sites and coordinating site-based teams.
A strong working knowledge of health and safety requirements and site record keeping.
Excellent organisation, communication and client-facing skills.
A practical, quality-focused approach with the ability to solve problems and keep projects moving.
Confidence managing tools, equipment, materials and site logistics.
Willingness to travel and work away when projects require it.
Experience in playground construction or familiarity with EN 1176 would be an advantage.

WORKSHOP OPERATIVE
What You’ll Be Doing:
Keeping the workshop, outside yard, storage and shared areas clean, tidy, organised and safe.
Supporting routine workshop maintenance and helping with basic office upkeep.
Reporting faults, damage, hazards and repair requirements promptly.
Managing waste segregation and removal in line with company procedures.
Working with workshop supervisor to monitor stock, identify shortages and organise materials and consumables.
Receiving, checking, storing and issuing workshop supplies.
Helping ensure tools and equipment are checked, cleaned, stored securely and ready for use.
Assisting the workshop team with material handling, preparation, packing, loading, deliveries and collections.
Following all health and safety procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Taking on other practical duties that help the workshop and wider business run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
A practical, hands-on attitude and a willingness to get involved.
A reliable and punctual approach, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
Good organisation, attention to detail and pride in keeping work areas in order.
The confidence to follow instructions, work safely and report problems promptly.
Clear communication skills and the ability to manage routine tasks with limited supervision.
Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, construction or maintenance environment would be helpful, but the right attitude is just as important.
Manual-handling, workshop-equipment or workplace-safety training would be an advantage; additional training will be provided where required.
Own transport to attend work is required.
About the Role:
This is a workshop-based role involving regular movement, standing and manual handling, as well as working around tools and machinery. You may also occasionally support office or external storage areas. You’ll receive the guidance and training needed to carry out authorised duties safely. This is a part-time 3 day per week role.

We’re looking for a reliable, practical and enthusiastic Workshop Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, supporting colleagues and helping a busy workshop run safely and efficiently.
You’ll work closely with our Workshop Manager/Supervisor and the wider workshop team, taking ownership of day-to-day housekeeping, maintenance support, waste removal and stock organisation. If you’re proactive, dependable and happy to turn your hand to a range of tasks, we’d like to hear from you.
